The following information will assist World Rose Show Exhibitors (those displaying/exhibiting cut roses/flowers) with crossing borders and shipping. If you are interested in being a, or are a confirmed World Rose Festival Marketplace Exhibitor (those promoting and selling plants, goods and services), please visit the Festival website for more information about Crossing Borders.
Cut flowers/roses from all countries do not require an import permit or phytosanitary certificate. However, they are subject to inspection at the first port of entry (any port of entry to Canada) and must be free of pests and soil.
If you are bringing cut flowers/roses on your person, once you have cleared customs at the port of entry, then you simply bring the cut flowers to the venue.
The Rose Show takes place during the World Rose Festival at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Logistic details, such as loading and unloading, in preparation for the World Rose Show will be provided upon registration as a World Rose Show Exhibitor. To register, click here.

Rose Show participants who are bringing cut flowers across the border from these countries may be required to produce a Phytosanitary Certificate with the Light Brown Apple Moth Additional Declaration at the border (if driving) or at the airport (if flying).
