A location that delivers all of the excitement and amenities of downtown Vancouver, the VCC is at the centre of it all. Outdoor terraces ascade onto waterfront parkland and concourses overlook departing cruise ships. Enjoy panoramic views of Vancouver, Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains. The Festival will be housed in Hall C of the new West Wing - 4 city blocks large with 60% on land and 40% on water - capped with a 6 acre living roof! (not the one under the sails).

The Festival is laid out to maximize your experience of the Rose. Roaming from the Display Gardens and Exhibits through to the Rose Show, you will then discover the Marketplace selling all things Roses, and be enticed to Activity Central, Meet the Expert and Club areas to learn from local and visiting experts who want to share their best garden advice with you. Enjoy a cup of tea while browsing the photography display. Where did the day go?

The VCC is fully accessible, and is easy to get to!

What is the best way to get to the Festival? The VCC is easily accessible by car, foot, bike, and public transit (bus, Seabus and Skytrain). Print out our downtown map as a guide. Visit www.vcec.ca for detailed information.

If driving, here are some directions to Hall C, West Exhibit Level, Vancouver Convention Centre, at 1055

To access this level from Main Street:
1. Drive NORTH on Main Street as far as you can go.
2. Continue down the ramp, which will take you down to Waterfront Road.
3. Turn RIGHT on to Waterfront Road and continue driving WEST for approximately 3 minutes.
4. The entrance to the Vancouver Convention Centre WEST Exhibit Halls will be on the RIGHT.

To access this level from Burrard Street:
1. Drive NORTH on Burrard Street to the Corner of Cordova Street.
2. Turn LEFT onto Cordova and drive for half a block until the road splits
3. Take the "middle" lane through the tunnel to Waterfront Road
4. The entrance to the Vancouver Convention Centre WEST Exhibit Halls will be on the LEFT

Where can I park and how much is it? Parking is available directly underneath the VCC (at 1055 Canada Place), accessed just west of the Burrard Street entrance. It is operated by Impark and is a relatively expensive spot to park (approximately $20 per day). (Heading west, at the first traffic light past Burrard Street, the parking entrance is located half a block down on the right hand side inside Vancouver Convention Centre West. Heading north on Burrard Street, turn left at the traffic light at the foot of Burrard Street, the parking entrance is located half a block down on the right hand side inside Vancouver Convention Centre West.)

Where is the handicap parking at the VCC? Handicap parking is available in the parkade.. The elevators providing access to the Festival are fully accessible.

Is the VCC accessible to wheelchairs? The VCC has wheelchair services, accessible elevators, accessible restroom stalls, unisex restrooms to accommodate a guest with special requirements and their attendant and varying height public telephones including a sit-down TTY unit.

Do I need a passport to get into Canada from the US? As of June 1, 2009, Americans will need a passport or other accepted documents to enter Canada and to return to the US after their visit.
